If you’re a woman founder building something bold, you’ve probably had questions you didn’t know where to ask.
At Kinhive, a platform built specifically to support women-led startups, we know that some of the most meaningful questions in entrepreneurship don’t make it to LinkedIn. That’s why we’re excited to announce Anonymous Mode, a new feature designed to help women ask real questions and share real advice in a safe, supportive space.
Whether you’re navigating your first hire, thinking about leaving a corporate job, or negotiating equity for the first time, this is for you.
What is Anonymous Mode?
Anonymous Mode is a new feature in Kinhive’s private startup community that allows members to post questions, share insights, and respond to others without attaching their names. It’s especially useful for founders exploring identity-sensitive topics, career pivots, or startup decisions they may not feel ready to share publicly.
With Anonymous Mode, you can:
- Ask for advice without revealing your identity
- Give honest, experience-based answers to fellow founders
- Explore nuanced topics like money, motherhood, burnout, and ambition
- Participate more fully in conversations that go beyond success stories
Why We Built It
The idea for Anonymous Mode came from our own experiences building businesses. As women founders, so many of our breakthroughs came from behind-the-scenes conversations—quiet advice, real talk, and honest questions we were lucky enough to ask in trusted spaces.
“Anonymous Mode is a tool for women to get and share advice on topics that might still feel ‘off-limits’ to talk about,” says Kinhive co-founder Maggie Sfingi. “We wanted to create a space for that to happen more often, more easily.”
Helping Women Founders Get Clarity, Not Just Connections
Unlike public forums or social media, Kinhive is a vetted platform focused entirely on helping women-led startups grow stronger teams and find better-fit collaborators. With Anonymous Mode, that support goes deeper—into the questions that shape strategy, identity, and confidence.
As co-founder Caitie Sfingi explains: “This isn’t about hiding. It’s about making room for more honest questions and more honest answers.”
Because sometimes, clarity doesn’t come from being the loudest voice in the room. It comes from asking the question you didn’t know how to say out loud.
