Mentorship, both ways

Learn from the women a few steps ahead.

The best mentors are often just a year or two further along: they remember exactly what this step felt like. Kinhive introduces you to them, and to the women just behind you whom you can help in turn.

Why it works

Advice lands best from someone who just took the step you’re on.

A mentor at the top of the ladder is hard to reach and hard to relate to. Someone a few rungs up can tell you what to do on Monday.

How it works

Mentorship without the formality.

    Meet someone who’s been there

Kinhive looks for women whose experience matches the step you’re on, and says why you’d click.

I raised my pre-seed last year. Ask me anything, honestly.

Okay. How did you pick your first angel?

    Ask the real questions

No formal program, no awkward “will you be my mentor?” Just two women talking about the next step.

Questions about mentorship

Something else? support@kinhive.com

How do I find a mentor as a woman founder?+
On Kinhive, choose “women further along to learn from” on your profile and say what you’re working through. Kinhive introduces you to women who’ve been there, with a note on what you have in common. Many of the best mentors never call it mentoring.
Is there a formal mentorship program?+
No. There are no applications or schedules. Kinhive makes the introduction, and you decide together what the relationship looks like.
Can I offer to mentor?+
Yes. Choose “women earlier on I can support” and Kinhive will introduce you to women at an earlier stage.
Do mentors get paid?+
Not through Kinhive. It’s women helping women, and many members do both: learn from some, support others.
Is it free?+
Yes. Kinhive is free to use, forever.
