Members draw zones on the floor plan for whatever the room needs: a quiet corner for heads-down work, a table for design crits, a spot for coffee chat. Step into one and everyone knows how you want to work.

What is virtual coworking?+
Virtual coworking is working alongside other people online, each on your own work, so you get the focus and company of a coworking space from wherever you are. On Kinhive it’s a shared room where members’ avatars sit on a floor plan, with zones, notes, chat, and music.
Do I need to turn on my camera or microphone?+
No. Cowork isn’t a video call. You’re an avatar on a shared floor plan, and you talk with chat and waves.
Is Kinhive’s virtual coworking space free?+
Yes. Cowork is free to use, forever, like the rest of Kinhive.
Who can join Cowork?+
Approved Kinhive members: women-identifying and nonbinary founders, freelancers, and builders. Joining is free, and a person reviews every application.
What is body doubling?+
Body doubling means working in the company of someone else to make it easier to start and stay focused. Many people find it helps, especially on hard or boring tasks. Cowork gives you a room of women working any time you need one.
Can we listen to music together?+
Yes. Any zone can have a Spotify Jam. Members in the zone can join it in Spotify and listen to the same music while they work.
When is Cowork open?+
Always. Drop in whenever you like; your sidebar shows how many members are in the room.
