Kinhive
Child Safety Standards
Last updated November 8, 2026
Kinhive is a professional community for adult women who build: founders, freelancers and builders. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any content or behavior that sexualizes, endangers or exploits minors. These standards apply to everything on Kinhive: profiles, photos and Updates, intro videos, posts and comments, chats, Cowork, and our iOS and Android apps.
Adults only
Kinhive is for people 18 and older. Everyone applies before they can use Kinhive, gives their date of birth, and is turned away if they are under 18. Every application is checked before the account is approved. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it.
What is prohibited
- Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material of any kind, including drawn, edited or AI-generated images.
- Sexualizing minors in any text, image, video or comment.
- Grooming, or contacting or attempting to contact a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or any other exploitation of a minor.
- Using Kinhive to arrange, promote or facilitate any of the above, on or off Kinhive.
How to report a concern
- In the app: use Report on any post, comment or intro video.
- By email, for anything else (a profile, a photo, a chat, or something you saw off Kinhive involving a member): support@kinhive.com with the subject “Child safety report”. Include the member's name or profile link and what you saw. Please don't send us copies of illegal images.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first. In the US you can also report to the NCMEC CyberTipline; elsewhere, to your national hotline through INHOPE.
What we do
- We review child safety reports first, ahead of every other kind of report.
- We remove violating content and suspend the account involved while we review it. Confirmed violations mean a permanent ban.
- We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as US law requires, and cooperate with law enforcement.
- We keep the information that law enforcement needs, as the law requires, and share it only with them.
Compliance
Kinhive complies with the child safety laws that apply to us, including US federal law on reporting child sexual abuse material (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), and with the child safety policies of Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Contact
Our designated contact for child safety, including questions about how we prevent and respond to child sexual abuse material, is support@kinhive.com. We read every message.
